Does anyone know if he every gave Griffey his 600 ball back? All I remember was that, due to being sued over ownership of the ball, he wasn't able to do anything with the ball for a while.

I've said earlier, Brett Carroll definitely earned his starting spot today, and with the way a lot of our guys are hitting, I would be totally for moving Coghlan to 3B, Hermida to LF, Cody to RF, and now see what Carroll can do in CF. Improves the defense ten fold, and if Carroll can continue even half of what he has done recently, he would be an improvement over Bonifacio anywhere in the lineup. It improves our team in so many ways to make this move, the only reason not to do it is to not mess with the current lineup.

Since it's replacing Bonifacio, I'd be all about that too. While it might not better us offensively, the defensive implications of that would be fantastic.

It would make sense. That's why we won't do it. Gotta keep the speed of Bonifacio, who has 4 errors in June and 26 strikeouts on 0-2 counts, in the lineup.

that's why I mentioned how IF Carroll can do half of what he has done in recent appearances. And considering we are still the 4th worst defensive team in baseball, I think improving the defense by adding Carroll and moving players where they are better defensively is a great thing to do. I've been all for Hermida in left for so long, I was pissed when they moved him, he looked so good in LF early in the season.
