June 8, 200917 yr Tonights lineup. Hopefully this is just not a resting day for Bonifacio. Coghlan lf, Helms 3b, Ramirez ss, Cantu 1b, Uggla 2b, Ross cf, Paulino c, Carroll rf, West lhp
June 8, 200917 yr Nice to see. I'd love to see BC get some hits. He hits balls hard some times but has been unlucky.
June 8, 200917 yr I still hate this lineup. Helms batting 2nd? WTF? Add Paulino and Carroll in the same lineup, and we may have one of the worst lineups we have ever put together.
June 8, 200917 yr I still hate this lineup. Helms batting 2nd? WTF? Add Paulino and Carroll in the same lineup, and we may have one of the worst lineups we have ever put together. We're facing a tough lefty, so I don't see a problem with Paulino in there. Helms is an upgrade over Bonifacio. Brett Carroll, I don't like starting, but whatever.
June 8, 200917 yr Atleast coghlan is starting against a LH again finally. Can't stand that Fredi decided to make a platoon out of a few AB sample size while completely ignoring everything that he has done as a pro (Which is hit both at the same ability)

June 8, 200917 yr damn give my boy de aza a shot. Way better then boner, carroll and helms. I dont think fredi knows what his doin sometimes
June 8, 200917 yr damn give my boy de aza a shot. Way better then boner, carroll and helms. I dont think fredi knows what his doin sometimes I'm assuming he's starting Carroll over De Aza because Carroll is RH and De Aza is LH. And, unlike Coghlan, De Aza does have a rather large split difference in his pro career (.695 OPS against LHP, .826 against RHP). I'd have rather seen Carroll in CF thogh.
June 8, 200917 yr isnt bonifacio our best hitter against left-handers, i remember tommy saying that on a telecast
June 8, 200917 yr Emilio Bonifacio is batting .313 with a .697 OPS against Left Handed Pitching. Odd time to take him out of the lineup (although it should be permanent). although Bonifacio has nearly 3X as many AB's against Right Handed Pitching as he has against LHP. Also LOL at 1 walk in 67 AB's against LHP, that's embarrassing.
June 8, 200917 yr Thoughout his pro career, bonifacio has been a lot better against RHP. He's hitting .263 in his career VS LHP, .297 against RHP with a .100+ OPS gap in favor of against RHP.
June 8, 200917 yr Emilio Bonifacio is batting .313 with a .697 OPS against Left Handed Pitching. Odd time to take him out of the lineup (although it should be permanent). Don't judge his entire career off of a small sample size from this year, especially since most of his against LHP stats come from in the first week of the season. He was 7-9 with a triple against LHP that first week. Since then he's hitting .241/.254/.276/.530 with a 1/15 BB/K (that 0.07) against LHP.
