June 25, 200917 yr My roommate told me about this today and I just happen to have tickets to the Futures Game! Me and my friends are all driving down (yes, DOWN to St. Louis) to go to FanFest and the Futures Game. I'll probably get a baseball and an 8x10 of Stanton signed!
June 26, 200917 yr Sounds awesome. I wish I would have had the chance to catch Stanton while he was in the FSL but I'm not really complaining that he got promoted.

July 13, 200917 yr Well, I got back from St. Louis yesterday...earlier then I would have liked. I sat in a rain delay for 3+hrs, but a friend of mine that went with us had to be home in Chicago Sunday night, so we had to leave after only watching half an inning and the game hadn't started back up when we left. It was extremely disappointing, but the circumstances dictated what happened. I still had a really fun weekend. FanFest was pretty cool. I was able to get Stanton's autograph before the game. Seeing him in person is like...wow. He is huge, height and muscle. He's just a big dude. I didn't see him bat, but I watched his 2nd AB on television and I like his swing. He was crushing the ball in batting practice. I'll have to take a picture of the ball and upload it.
