Overrated places...

Disney World. What a boring childish place.Nothing to do but eat.

Exactly. Yet there are adults obsessed with it. I'll never understand it.

The Denny's closest to me-- the one on Kendall Drive and 117th I think.

Haha Gizmo, I wouldn't blame it.

Oh sucks, those are the benefits of being a hispanic, living in a white neighborhood.

Kendall? It's a white neighborhood? Hmm.

I think he means Weston.

Yep.

One of the whitest neighborhoods around.

I'll agree that Fenway probably is overrated.

How about Wrigley?

I loved Wrigley! Old school, beat down bathrooms and stuff, but..... atmosphere owns all!

*Shudder*

Being around Cubs fans would be scarier than Aventura at night.

Aventura? Seriously?

Aventura is a rich neighborhood.

Anyway, New York. The weather is sh*t.

Behind Aventura is a rich neighborhood, I mean you know there rich when a community is called The Yacht Club.

But the neighborhood down the street in front of the mall is pretty ghetto.

Dance Clubs

Frat Parties / House Parties

"Raves"

Los Angeles

Las Vegas

Stonehenge

NYC

IHOP

Olive Garden

NBA Games

The PA "Grand Canyon"

The real Grand Canyon unless you have things to do once you get there - but overrated as a quick day trip

The Van Gogh museum in Amsterdam

I really don't have to many - most of the places I've visited are places I've wanted to go to and didn't leave me underwhelmed

Las Vegas

The real Grand Canyon unless you have things to do once you get there - but overrated as a quick day trip

I left one of your overrated places early to go to another.

We were working in Phoenix for two weeks so over the weekend we decided to go to Vegas and were so unimpressed we moved the Sunday flight returning to Phoenix from the evening to the morning so we could go to the Grand Canyon. We had no idea how cold it got up there so we were wearing shorts and once we get up there it was snowing. I still liked the views.

The Bahamas.

yeah - a lot of people don't realize how varied a state AZ is as far as weather

I don't dislike the GC - i think it's really great - however, I've been convinced more times than I would like by a visitor to make a trip up

don't want to hike, don't want to camp, don't want to spend a weekend up north ...... let's just go on wednesday, leave early, come back the same day ..... just get the views

invariably we spend about an hour at the canyon, ooh and ah a bit and then drive back with everyone feeling a bit deflated because you expect more ..... it's a different experience if you spend more time there

i was kind of like that with stonehenge as well - it was in the middle of nowhere, which at first is cool because it makes it that more impressive ..... you ponder it, you get amazed by how long it's been there, think about how such a thing could be built, take in the surroundings then after about 30 minutes we were no longer amazed by being in the middle of nowhere, but frustrated that there wasn't more to do and that we had to pile back into the vehicle and trek on

"Fritanga" (maybe this only exists in Miami?)

Gross.

Boo you! There is nothing overrated about Nica food.

(Full disclosure: I'm not Nicaraguan but my fiancee is.)

Nica food is great but Fritangas are not. If you go to FIU give El Madrono a shot which is near by. For lunch for $8 (tip included) you get carne asada, gallo pinto, maduros, a salad and a canned soft drink.

No joke, my mouth watered.

Unhealthy food :barf

South Beach. Driving by there is just hell.

Not a place but... video games! Ugh.

True that.

They can be enjoyable but really not worth $60 dollars to buy and play for 2 or 3 months then get bored with it and not being able to get even half back of what you got it for.

Plus you don't get anything out of it by beating them anyway just some points that 7 year old kids brag about having by playing 8 or 9 hours a day.
