And considering he still hits 97, 98, I think with better control his average velo would go up.

Not really. His stuff wasn't what it used to be, but he is only 24 years old. His stuff is still very good, and he can still throw 95+ MPH if he wants to. Let him develop his control, and you'll see why people compared him to RJ.

 

BTW, I think the RJ comparisons were very stupid. That's a pretty big comparison for a player his age.

Obviously the Marlin's front office reads my posts and take them very seriously. Otherwise how can you explain that I complained about Miller and Bonifacio (see above) and the next day they demote one and bring in a replacement for the other. I have to be more aware of my influence and act with more caution in the future.
