It does defy logic that they call him up and then just forget about him. But that's Freddi for you.

He doesn't get opportunities to pinch hit because we have such a good bench. Helms and Gload are much better pinch hitting options than Gaby Sanchez. So he doesn't get to pinch hit because he's not as good as it than Helms and Gload.

We shouldn't overreact just yet. Was this like, his first couple days in the team since being called up? They'll play him in the series against Atlanta. We should wait a few more games before we ask this question.

I definitely believe Gaby will make at least 1 start in this series against the Braves with all the RHP they are sticking out there and Bonifacio's current struggles vs RHP.

Its been than a couple of days and in baseball time, its a sheer eternity to call a guy up and not play him for a long stretch. Even De Aza got some pinch hitting chances here and there (and did quite well in them).
