  1. I'm sure a team like the Yankees, Rangers, or Reds could make a trade for Nolasco. Getting rid of him wouldn't be difficult; just don't ask for too much and offer to eat some of the salary. If he were to be traded the best idea would be to get rid of the salary and use it elsewhere. I never have liked paying someone to play someplace else. I agree with you. I'm just saying don't ask the world in return. Getting Danks would be terrific.

Here's something for you guys to think about: could Gaby Sanchez play 3rd base? If somehow we get Fielder/Pujols, instead of losing a great talent maybe we could let Gaby play 3rd. I remember he used to play there.

Am I the only guy that would prefer to have Fielder over Pujols? Fielder is younger, he hasn't been injured, and he's a left handed hitter which would bring more balance to the offense, especially if you would pluck him between Hanley and Stanton. Talking about having Fielder is a pipe dream, I know, but I would take him over Pujols.
  4. I have a feeling that he will stay, at least for one or two more years. Marlins should be able to keep him. If they have any number 1 target this year, it has to be CJ Wilson. The hitting has talent with Stanton, Hanley, Morrison, etc, but the pitching needs help. JJ is an elite pitcher, but he gets injured alot, and having a guy like CJ Wilson that can anchor your rotation would be valuable.

  6. Whenever he drops a bunt (2 times) it has been...pretty bad.
  7. Bring me Scotty Pods. 1 year 2 million. He could be the 4th outfielder as a lefty, or he could start at centerfield. The other 1-2 million left could be used for a lefty pitcher, fill out the bench with some minor league guys?

When did we refuse to trade maybin for heath bell? Because, well, fail....
  9. Word out there is that the Red Sox tried to nontender Papelbon for Mariano Rivera. If he's released, should we try to get him? I know he was bad last year, but he's been a dominant all star closer in the past, so this could be just a flunk year, and maybe we could get him on the cheap side. Besides, pitching in the national league could benefit him and i'd rather have him then see him go to philly :tv_horror
  10. Hey. There's only room for one Dr. in this town. I would change my name to nurse marlin but...
  11. Jacoby Ellsbury is very talented with alot of upside, and when he's not injured he's shown how great of a player he can be. It would be smart to add him on the cheap side, especially when we have to consider making chris coghlan the centerfielder. I want coghlan at 2nd base
  12. I love this signing. Vazquez will be a valuable pitcher for our rotation. I am hoping that the consecutive games without being in the DL streak continues. Being injury free and an innings eater will greatly benefit this team, and the bullpen will be a little better rested. I dont care what anybody says, without uggla but with Vazquez, Infante, Mike Dunn, etc, this team is alot better

He signed with the Dodgers a long time ago when he was a free agent. I'm not sure if he's still recovering from knee surgery, but I think he's still with the Dodgers in their minor league system.
  14. Random question...what happened to Andrew Miller?
