it works for the nats because he's an innings eater and will save the young arms of their staff. i guess livan just wants to pitch and most other teams would want him in the pen or minor league depth.

i never knew he was only 34. he looks like he's at least 40. do you think he's lying about his age like tejada did??

 

I though he was 20 in 97, making him 32. But the answer about his age is that who can be sure? No one has ever been certain about his half brother El Duque-it ranges significantly.

El Duque is 44.

 

Strangely enough, none of the supposed options of his age are 44. Officially he's 39, but there are paper's that say he might be 43, and others that say he might be between the ages of 47-51.

the marlins should bring him in next season as insurance because our pitching always seems to get injured of underperforming even though he hasn't been stellar the last couple seasons.
