Yes.

 

He made a mistake by not bringing in his best reliever when he needed him most.

 

However, I don't blame Fredi because all managers use the same dumb logic.

 

If he's your closer, you must stick with that guy. Just look at the insanity going on in Philadelphia.

I would have pulled him after he walked Reed on 4 pitches, who was trying to sac bunt.

I agree with Erick, you have to have your best reliever in this case Kiko and Meyer warmed up and ready to go if your closer is struggling.

Another mistake I think Freddi made was pinch hitting Helms for Baker against the Japanese Lefty, Instead he should have pinch hit with Paulino who mashes lefties and would give us a better opportunity to score that run but that's just my opinion.

I think it was a mistake not having the bullpen getting warmed once Nunez started letting things snowball. But I don't know if our guys starting warming up before he walked Reed and so I don't really think the option of taking him out was there directly after that at bat.

If you want to blame a anything blame our defense.

I would have had somebody warming up, and after the 4 pitch walk they should have pulled Nunez. Fredi sat there like a deer in the headlights....watching the season slip by......

there we go again .... it seems like some of you guys find a way to put every single loss on Fredi. I guess the only way to keep some of you guys happy is to just to go 162 -0. Simply unbelievable.

 

Fredi put his closer in, and Nunez blew it. End of story. Nunez is to blame and no one else.

 

What if Nunez loaded the bases but ended up getting out of trouble and we won. All of a sudden we're not blaming anyone, even though it's the same scenario and like some of you said, Meyer or Calero should have come in.

 

Fredi has done an above average job all season, especially considering the fact our starting pitching has struggled for most of the season and he has had to manage the bullpen day in and day out. Some of you need to just shut the f*** up and learn how to take a loss like a man (or woman), and not point fingers at our manager that made all the right moves.
