The UFL is actually starting tonight. First game is on Versus 9est. Anyone going to watch?

They should have made it a spring league. There is really no chance for it to survive in the fall with the NFL, College football and MLB playoffs.

It has been decent football, besides Losman sucking in any league he is in, and sort of interesting. I do agree it has a better chance to survive in the spring though.

This has zero chance of surviving.

I think if they make it back for season two and expand it will last at least 5+ seasons. Remember the AFL recently folded so it allows that "minor league" niche.

I will watch it, if there is nothing better on. Watched the last quarter of yesterday's game.

I think setting up these teams as affiliates with NFL teams and allowing practice squad players to play in the UFL would be awesome.

luckily its only one season for the teams. Next year all the teams get unique identities. They all use the same colors this year to "promote" the league over the teams.

Maybe if they would've I don't know ADVERTISED that the games were gonna be on, I might've watched.

 

Why don't they play during the NFL offseason like the USFL did. Then maybe they'd have a chance in hell at succeeding.

The games are on HDNet and Versus. It's difficult getting publicity in the mainstream sports media for minor leagues.

Watched a while of it and its pretty good. But to chose this over the other mainstream sports is just...not gonna happen often.

Tuskers beat California Redwoods tonight, 34-7. Obviously they are the class of the UFL right now.
