Miami Heat 09-10 Season Thread

Featured Replies

The Heat should've won by at least 10 but they lost by 1 because they missed about 20 FT's. WHYTF DON'T COACHES GIVE A sh*t ABOUT THEIR PLAYER'S FT SHOOTING!!!!!!! The Heat is lucky I'm not their coach. I'd lock them in the arena, cut to power to the whole place except the floor lights and maybe the A/C, and make the whole team practice FT"s until they each make 10 in a row. I don't care how long it takes. 12 hours 24 hours whatever. Don't worry, I'd have plenty of Gatorade on hand (but no food). :censored :censored :cussing :cussing

oh man! me too, but i wouldnt even put the AC in there. Let them sweat it out and learn whats going to happen if they keep pulling this FT Bullstuff, FREE THROW SESSION WITH NO AC BIATCHES!!

I'm not angry after that loss, just very heart broken. You gotta make your free throws. I haven't seen a team yet escape when they miss as many free throws as the Heat did last night. You can't win that way.

Still, you gotta give the Heat credit. Every time the Lakers looked like they were going to pull away, the Heat came right back. Hell, they even did it with Wade on the bench. We shouldn't be over .500 with the way Wade has played this year, but here we are. Things can only get better once Wade gets his act together.

But I gotta say Wade did get a taste of his own medicine. That shot was nearly identical to the kind of shot Wade made against the Bulls last year.

kings leading the heat. tyreke evans is going to win ROY. i think alot of teams are overlooking the kings. thompson is going to abuse the heat front court.

Jennings will win it.

Jennings has played out of his mind.

Funny how this draft turned out better than most thought, some good players like Evans and Jennings came out of it. DaJuan Blair and Budinger in the 2nd round, some good overall players.

for sure. everyone said it was going to be a weak draft. i think it'll be a point guard race for the rookie of the year award. tyreke and jennings have been great but i think flynn could burst onto the scene at any point.

I thought Flynn was the best player in the draft back when the T-Wolves took him. I still think he has a world of talent, as does Ty Lawson.

Hasheem Thabeet...seems like a lost cause sadly :(

didn't help that he broke his jaw in the first week of the season

I should add Beasley looks like he has finally found his niche on his team, he's starting to look competent on the basketball court. Good to see.

i'd still take evans over jennings in a heartbeat. and i'm not being biased because i'm a kings fan, i just think that evans contributes in more aspects of the game and already has a nba body

nice win by the heat. you can tell if the kings have a chance of winning the game by the performance of spencer hawes. when he produces, the kings win, but when he is inconsistent like lately the kings don't stand a chance against good teams. i'm still hoping sometime before the trade deadline the kings can package kevin martin and thomas's expiring for an experienced big like al jefferson or even okafor.

They only missed 5 FT''s last night. 26-31. I guess they got my message.:dwarf And Wade gets 30 points ina game for the first time in a month(or so it seems like ).

do not have much to say except that the heat look horrible. To be getting blown out by this much to not-so-great memphis team is disappointing.

The Heat look like they have no clue what they are doing out there in these last 2 games without J.O.

Honestly we need to shake up this lineup with either

Chalmers

Wade

Richardson

Haslem

J.O.

or

Chalmers

Wade

Beasley

Haslem

J.O.

Cook is cold as hell, Jones has had his moments, Wright passes up on a sh*tload of open shots and ends up missing after a pumpfake, Anthony is a lost cause on offense and has his moments on defense but commits way to many fouls and gets lost when he has to switch off a double team.

We need an actuall presence downlow and J.O. is not that guy, sure he helps but we need a "TRUE" Center that is over 7 feet with long arms and will contest anything that comes his way and adds rebounds with some scoring.

Something needs to be done within this Organization or this team is going to go nowhere fast.

Can we please stop putting in Dorrell Wright for so many minutes? His numbers may look good, but he really isn't helping this team win.

From 7-1 to 11-11, :(

So many things wrong with this team right now. Wade isn't even half the player he was last season. Chalmers and Beasley haven't stepped up like you would've hoped, and teams are having their will right now against our inside defense. And we're starting to have trouble with rebounding, same issue we had last year.

Damn, this team is so inconsistant, could be anything from a 5th seed to missing the playoffs.

Yeah, and we're 6-7 at home, wow...

And MMP, what we need is in the offseason to make a HUGE push at both Amar'e and CB4. If we can get one of those guys, that would be a huge win for us in this free agent class. Lebron is a pipe dream, but those two are actually realistic shots.

i have a feeling that chris bosh will end up in miami. i think that amare and lebron end up in new york. although if lebron wants to win he should come to sacramento :D

Yeah I know I've talked about this with friends before.

I'd rather resign J.O. for hopefully a lot less then his current 20 Million Dollar Contract then sign Bosh or Amare. I'd prefer Bosh but either one should be fine. The only problem with getting one of those is that we'll have to lose Haslem or if U.D. is willing to take a paycut and a role on the bench we need to ditch a combo of 2 from Jones/Cook/Wright/Diawara along with Magloire.

We still have a shot this season but the pieces of the puzzle need to get together quickly.

If he wants to win he wouldn't go to the Brooklyn Nets or New York Knicks.

i don't think that lebron cares about winning. he just wants to showboat and be the center of attention. if I was joakim noah and the bulls i would foul the sh*t out of him next time the bulls play the cavs.

1. He does care about winning, Alot he's said it himself, he does not care about any other award or accomplishment except of winning an NBA Championship and being on the Knicks or Nets will not help that cause.

2. They will but should do it with an unimportant bench player so it wouldn't matter if they were ejected, but if they really want to show him up then they actually beat the Cavs on the court.

we'll see. he'll end up in new york because all he wants is the $$$$

back-to-back good performances by the heat. Glad to see them turn it around after that lose to Memphis.
