Posted July 18, 201014 yr Nationals (40-51) @ Marlins (43-47) Alex Sanabia (0-1) 3.09 ERA vs Craig Stammen (2-3) 5.79 ERA Marlins: Coghlan day-to-day with lower back strain Left fielder Chris Coghlan left Saturday's game after he aggravated his back on a swing when he struck out in the fifth inning. The 2009 National League Rookie of the Year will not start on Sunday, and the team will further evaluate him on Monday. Coghlan is in an 0-for-16 slump and has hit .156 in July after erupting for a .377 average in June. Alex Sanabia looking for his 1st career Major League win. I'm hoping he can go at least 5 or 6 IP and allows 3 or less runs. Offense needs to wake up and score in bunches so we Alex can get comfortable and we can cruise into an easy win. Also how bout they play defense like they are actually getting paid to play not like Little Leaguers. GET IT DONE!

July 18, 201014 yr Cogs had got it together just a while ago and started to look like a shadow of last year. Now as Conine pointed out last night prior to Cogs injury, he is swinging out of balance. Does anybody know if he injured himself just a while ago and this swing last night reinjured his back? With this play first down, then up and down again I wonder if he has been playing injured. The way Cogs has laid himself out on some of those awesome catches in the outfield make me wonder if he has a nagging injury.

Nope he said he just tweaked his back on a swing he took against a Livan Curveball, his struggles are not injury related
