Where did this guy come from? I came away very impressed with him in the recent Marlin/Giants series. Was looking at his bio and was astonished to see that he was 32 years old!

What a season though.. 36 doubles, 11 HR and 5 3B (52 xbh) in 373 ABs... mix that with 21 SB and an OBP of .370.. wowza. Also made some ridiculous plays in the OF.

Watch out for the Giants if this guy keeps hitting because Huff and Posey are raking and they have a good mix of role players to go with a top notch rotation.

He was the MARLINS 23rd pick in the 1997 draft, also the year they took Cliff Lee in the 8th round and Aaron Akin in the 1st :thumbdown

Yeah he's a late bloomer like Ludwick and he's been great for the Giants.

He gets on base, steals bases, scores runs and plays above average defense in the biggest part of AT&T.

Man, I had no idea we had drafted Cliff Lee, too bad he didn't sign.

lol, he was drafted by 3 different teams but didn't pitch one game in the pros for any of them.
