I've seen him make bad calls on at least 7 occasions this season. He's simply terrible.

I think that was actually the right call at 2nd base. Counsell went straight for the guy's legs, and didn't come close to trying to touch the bag.

Agreed, he had a quick hook on the batter who slammed his helmet though. The batter could've legitimately been upset with himself for taking the pitch.

Was that him on both calls? Unless he made that call from home plate, I figured it was the 2nd base umpire who made the call on the slide.

Yep different umps, I was just commenting on the umps as a whole since that crew took some heat combined in the game.
