Sounds about right; we seem like a .500 team +/- variance, career years, above-expectation performances, etc.

I honestly don't like these powering rankings at all... I know it's a small sample size, but power rankings need to reflect how teams are playing RIGHT NOW. Not how they will probably eventually start to play...

 

Red Sox 7th after going 0-3? Unacceptable.

Royals 26th after going 3-1? Also unacceptable.

 

In the future, the Royals may very well play like the 26th best team and the Red Sox 7th, but these are current rankings. Not aptitude predictors of the future. Let it show as such.
