November 23, 200322 yr Florida Must Make Trade With Montreal Imagine hearing this on opening day, "And in Right Field, Vladimir Guerrero!" Or, try this on for size. "Now pitching, Javier Vazquez." Believe it or not, it now more possible than ever. The Expos are virtually dumping away ever big contract possible and this could be Florida's chance for a few big players. But remember, it comes at a cost. The Marlins would most likely be forced by Montreal to give away Millar, Encarnation, and/or Penny. Don't forget the picks and prospects! But who cares! I would be happy if any thirty homerun hitter ever came to Florida again, nonetheless a 40/40 hitter (practically) that also hits . 300, has a better arm than any other outfielder, and that doesn't mind to be here! It sounds like a dream.......... But just let me tell you this, DON'T GET YOUR HOPES UP! Every team is looking to make this trade. The only reason we have any chance of making a trade like this because we have an inside edge with coaching and personnel, and we have young, talented players who appeal to the Expos for one reason, their cheap! Making any deal that involves bringing Vazquez and Guerrero to the Marlins is fine with me, should be with you too, and I'm sure Admin Bienfest wouldn't mind either. All that's left now is for him to put together some type of creative deal again and what do ya know, it's a Merry Christmas in Florida!
