May 25, 201115 yr I sent it to Admin yesterday. The sample i gave him was about how i got into the Marlins, the way Baseball is perceived in the UK, difficulties of supporting a team in a different country and time zone, and other little bits. I'm sure there is alot more i could have gotten into, but it was a happy sample. Plus, i throw a bit a humour into the mix as well, as i like to enjoy reading articles not just for the information but something that will lighten the mood.
June 4, 201115 yr I'm sorry im late to the game here... I can't be a writer. But i'd like to offer my services as an editor. I have a ton of problems with the headlines on this site. for instance, "coghlan bloop single salvalges jj gem," or most recently "nunez coughs up save." The first one - too wordy; a more appropriate headline may have read "coghlan's clutch hit kills phils." Or "No Holiday for Halladay." The most recent " Nunez Coughs Up Save." The result of the game was a loss, to have "coughed up a save" suggests Nunez pulled it out despite suffering a bad outing. A more appropriate headline would read "Nunez Chokes: Brewers Beat Fish." Or just simply "Nunez Chokes." Depends on how much text your editor gives you. Again, just my two cents...id love to correct articles and offer guidance but i don't have the time to write. At least....I want to see better headlines. these headlines....you're killin me smalls. =) Anyone can PM me if they'd like me to edit things on a regular basis; I'm just too busy to write regularly

June 4, 201115 yr I'll be starting a new article tonight/tomorrow. Just took the SAT so I'm not exactly in a writing mood :lol
June 5, 201115 yr I apologize if I haven't been writing as many articles recently. UCF orientation mixed with some other stuff and contacting the sports editor for the Central Florida Future newspaper (in hopes of getting to write about UCF baseball at some point) has kept me busy recently. I'll try to write a few more before heading off to college in late June.
June 5, 201115 yr How do you find all the articles. Do they comes under the news bit? Been looking a while, just in the wrong place.
