Morrison has been such a streaky hitter for most of this year.

April 27 - May 5: 3-19, 4 K, 2 BB

May 6 - 14: 8-26, 4 K, 3 BB

May 14 - 25: 3-37, 12 K, 8 BB (the stretch that really hurt his numbers)

May 26 - June 2: 8-27, 4 K, 4 BB

June 3 - June 8: 0-15, 6 K

Now, after last night, if the trend continues, he'll come out of it and heat up again for another week or so before cooling down again. Right now, he's really reminding me of Cody Ross.

We don't want streaky hitters we want consistent hitters.

Lomo had an excellent response game. Gaby nas a nice RBI.

If we are going to keep demoting players lets atleast start calling up guys that have never been up, see what sticks instead of the same guys over and over with little change. I say that tongue in cheek but not really. Maybe we have a diamond in disguise.

Honestly, that's probably more of a statement about our farm system.

Yes it is. And unfortunately we are under equipped to operate as an elite franchise, like the Rays.

Gotta stick with the team and remember it's supposed to be fun to watch the Marlins, through the good and the bad. I want them to win as much as anyone but the fact of the matter is they aren't right now.

Keep supporting them they will eventually win a division and then another World Series title, at the very least we can say the FO is doing something, with the moves they made this offseason.

Unfortunately we gotta keep farming our system and hopefully we will be able to build some depth.

They have so many World Series titles. But their strategy is better than ours. Since the nl east is a crazy division now, we should trade everyone away and place last year after year. Then with all of the super early draft picks our farm will be stacked for years. Suddenly when they start maturing we will win. That is what the marlins should be doing.

I hate to say it, but there is method in your madness. However, it is a bitter pill to swallow. No one likes to see their team under .500 for a decade or so just so we can fill the farm with real talent.

Wtf did we do in 2006, then?
