January 24, 201313 yr Well that was nuts. 90-63?! Who could've expected a blowout... Biggest win by a UM basketball team since I don't know... probably making it to the Sweet 16 back in 2000. Certainly their biggest win ever at home. They made the tourney in '08 but that team never felt all that good to me. I've been at a lot of big wins by that program in the past but man I would love to have been there in that arena tonight. I said that was a great hire when they brought in Jim Larranage to coach. First time they've ever beaten a #1 ranked team. One of the biggest losses ever from Duke. Crazy.
January 24, 201313 yr They also won an awesome game at home vs Duke a few years back. I was there, and it was great! This team is very talented and balance. I hate to see Duke lose, but I was rooting for UM all the way!

January 31, 201313 yr Veteran team w/ a really good coach. Depth is the main issue, but the trio of Johnson, Kadji, and Gamble down low is killing it. The Saturday game vs NC State will be nationally televised, too.
February 3, 201313 yr Author Great game vs #19 NC State today as 'Canes win on a Reggie Johnson tip-in at the buzzer. I felt like State was going to win that game, they really played well. UM was cold from 3-point range but still managed to squeak it out.
February 11, 201313 yr Author #3 ranking today. wow! strangely Duke is #2 even though Miami thrashed them, and Indiana stays #1 after just losing to Illinois... okay.

March 2, 201313 yr Canes looking pretty sharp this far. Larkin needs to slow down a bit but the crazies are seeming to have little effect thus far. Go canes!
March 3, 201313 yr Author Oh well, lost and could've played better in the 2nd half, but after being down by 10 with like 1:30 to play, they came storming back and had 2 three-point chances at the end that would've sent it to OT. Larkin turned it over when they were only down 2, he's not gonna be able to sleep tonight. Props to Duke, but really had Miami managed to tie that game up Duke should've been ridiculed for completely blowing it. Ryan Kelly was 7-9 from 3 point range, just bananas.
