May 6, 201313 yr If all the prospects are developing as expected, then this Marlins team can turn into a very scary lineup in a few years 2B Solano C Barnes LF Yelich 1B Stanton RF Ozuna 3B Dietrich CF Marisnick SS Hechavarria A 3-4-5 w/ Yelich-Stanton-Ozuna could potentially be scary. That lineup would put up runs. Solano has no part in the future of the team and i think brantly is more likely to be the catcher than barnes. Solano is not a major league player I think he has already proved you and all of the Solano haters wrong. He is not going to be an all star, and he might not even be a starter for long, but he deserves to be on a major league roster. lol!!! Is it his .650 OPS, shitty defense, mediocre speed or negative WAR that impresses you most?

Is it his .650 OPS, sh*tty defense, mediocre speed or negative WAR that impresses you most? It's his amazing number of singles and that one home run he hit the other day. I like Solano, but overall, he definitely should not be a starter. Nor should Chris Valaika, for that matter, but at least his defense has been solid.

Neither should really be our starting 2b, but Solano is so bad that Valaika is a step up offensively and defensively.
May 6, 201313 yr Bring all the kids up and get Morrison back at first and the team will at least be fun to watch. Pierre and Planco and Kearns and Coghlan and Olivo and Dobbs just wear fans out because we cannot become invested in their future as Marlins since they have none.
May 6, 201313 yr lol at Solano He's done a little better than I thought he would, but his "a little better" is still pretty damn bad.
May 6, 201313 yr We might be that team from major league. I saw this, and thought of the Rachel Phelps jigsaw pinup. Then I went to the office restroom and threw up lunch, breakfast, and last night's Oreos. Because we do not have an owner that passable for attractive, not to mention not being female. :banghead :confused
