5/30 Tampa Bay Devil Rays at Florida Marlins - 7:10 pm

Featured Replies

the tv guys and Cliff Floyd are baffled why the Marlins aren't scoring any runs and Cliff says "it's not like they don't have any opportunities".

Lowest in the league in slugging, dude. Rays have 4 hits, but two of those are homers and one is a double. Not to mention 5 walks.

The Marlins have 5 hits and they're all singles except the pitcher was nice enough to hit a double. They rarely hit but even when they do it's almost always singles. No way to score runs.

We're the lowest slugging in the league by so much it's laughable. The range is from .464 to .372 for the rest of the league. Marlins at .318.

It just dawned on me. We could actually lose our 9th game in a row :(

Think that's bad? Wait until the calendar says June.

Is it just me or does it seem counter productive to pinch hit for the young guys in situations like these

It is. If we're going to suffer, I'd rather suffer for the sake of the future rather then for the sake of the past.
