Very solid performance by Jose and nice to see Mathis getting some hits because he has some pop.

 

Two extra base hits doesn't mean you have pop. I am really glad to see him step up and deliver some big hits, but he still sucks.Yeah, calling and catching a shutout doesn't mean a thing.

I don't play fantasy baseball for the record.

 

Mathis is ok behind the plate, but if you can't hit .200 in the bib leagues you should not be on the field. End of story.
