Lol. True about the Must C: Clutch. However, though Cishek has really struggled, he had converted 11 straight saves. It was like he struggled for a little that time around the Arizona an Philadelphia games then turned it on again and now is really struggling. He has the stuff but also needs to work on his changeup.

Tonight was such a big game, could have gone for the sweep and be 3 out looking to go 3 games over. This needs to have its foot on the gas or it will be over quick.

11 straight. But how many of those did we leave thinking we could have lost? When i think of closers where this game is over no matter what, i actually believe jansen of dodgers fits that 95% from what ive seen and doolittle. Or the guy in minnesota. And of course chapman.

It will always come back to haunt you. We could have score 7-8 runs easy. On top of that, a little fucking luck in the 11th inning wouldn't have hurt, buy neither would Cishek just getting 2 more outs.

I can take losing but what I cannot take is pissing away the game. We have not been relevant for a long time and I do not want to go 11 years without making the playoffs.

This team needs a streak, not 3-4 games, more like 7-8 games. But no matter what we do, we just cant seem to get away from .500.

Yep. Almost psychological. Or maybe it is.

I dont know. Either way, its like going into the game with the possibility of being 2 over means a loss right now.

This team is on a 9 game trip and they will actually need something like 7-2.

Tough when your last two losses were against teams a combined 56 games under.

I was just about to say the same thing.

I dont know. Shaking my damn head on this. Be thankful of the graces of god that we are still in this. But again, i pray this isnt to be delusional.

Even a win tomorrow means back to 1 game over and then 6 games on the road against the Angels and Braves. Wont get easier and sometimes just winning a series isnt good enough, not that I dont like winning series.

I feel sorry for Cishek, he's such a nice dude I hope he can turn it around.

Unlike Bell, steve isn't making excuses.
