The Nats were the undisputed pick to win the NL East, but here they are getting swept by the Marlins! A big payroll and bigger expectations do the Nats make a change if they continue to struggle?

The first guy to go in my opinion will be scoscia for the AL, and roenicke for the NL

He's not going to get fired. This is ridiculous.

Is it? He is signed through only next year I think, huge expectations and currently in last place.

No, it's completely ridiculous. The team did extremely well last year and that alone will give him a longer leash to at least the end of the season unless the clubhouse situation catastrophically deteriorates.

Secondly, they are only 1 game back from 3rd place and it's still only April. He has no chance of getting fired. A 7-12 record is certainly disappointing but not unheard of for a team with high expectations at the end of April.

I guess its that Loria mindset, tough to think how other owners don't think that way.

I really don't think he'll get fired soon either, but it just goes to show the mindset of the Marlins and the preposterous notions in April! Roenicke though is totally getting fired!!

For a second I thought this thread was about Brian Williams and getting fired from NBC.

Roenicke should have been fired last winter.

I still have zero understanding how the fuck he wasnt last year.

Yeah Roenicke is basically beyond "his leash" already... He's basically already fired.
