Jose to DL, Nicolino up

Featured Replies

That's why Jose is awesome. And I don't think he's saying that as a PR line, he genuinely believes that. Whether the team agrees or not is a different story entirely.

Fernandez: "As long as I'm healthy I'm coming back. It doesn't matter our record."

the more the quality starts, the better pay from his next team. Smart guy.

why did they wait so long to DL him.

could have just done it the other day and called up another reliever for a few days.

oh, right.  marlins.

it was announced Saturday, there was no game on Monday, so it would have only helped on Sunday plus they needed a starter for Tuesday. A bit picky on this one I say.

eh, it doesnt matter, but it makes no sense to play with a 24 man roster for 2 days (saturday and sunday) when you know he will be on the DL.  No way would any sane team allow him to not miss 15 days after something like that.
