December 2, 201510 yr A random question: Is anyone's making Mattingly Miami Marlins merchandise? My brother's favorite player growing up was Don Mattingly, so it's been the inspiration for plenty of offbeat gifts for a guy who pretty much buys anything he wants himself. Hell, I even got an opportunity to help him meet the guy when I lived in New Jersey. Mattingly joining the Marlins is kind of a perfect opportunity for a Christmas present, but I can't even buy a shirt with his name and number from officials channels because MLB doesn't allow retired names and numbers to be used unless they tell you you can. I tried, but they shut down my order fairly quickly. So, I figured I'd check in with people somewhat closer than 1,700 miles away from Miami if anybody had stuff. Thanks! Weird because the Marlins were giving away Mattingly jerseys with season ticket packages recently so they should sell them too.
