Wait..... You don't like Stanton?  :SlowClap

he's a good dude. but as a player?? no not really. you're right. him playing first base would be good honestly....and you already know how I feel about the hitting. spotty to the one millionth power.

Wow, Matt Kemp looks like he is hating life right now..

you ever been to san diego?? how can you possibly hate life? for me personally, its my favorite city ever. must seriously dislike the team.

yeah....but he hasn't worn the marlins jersey in the season.

I know Vince, I was just messing with you. You have always been very consistent with your feelings towards him. It's why I never get annoyed with your posts pertaining to him.

thanks man. we can agree he has been frustrating. and the answer to this problem is simple but he doesn't do it.

.....just stand closer to the plate. two to three inches and we are talking 20 homers already.

as predicted hand is battering the marlins but we are up 8-2 so I cant be mad. but everyone should have known this was coming.

But Vince, you think Barry Bonds hasn't told him this? I am literally 100% positive that this is a psychological issue. He is just not seeing the ball well and has 0 confidence.

What is very scary is that some players don't bounce back from psychological problems in baseball, hence D-Train.

okay I can try to answer this too. Stanton has been a non factor for a month or so, right? I feel if this was indeed psychological and bonds has told him everything that you are pertaining to, then a DL stint would have been more sufficient. lets try to get this thing right without affecting the game itself. he has cost us games, but a DL stint would have given him more time to face some form of live pitching still. have jose face him during batting practice or something.

I honestly think the answer is to send him down to the minors for a few weeks. He is a non-factor in our wins right now. So what difference would it make?

yep. agreed. and you know what? not even a few weeks. just 1 week. see how he does. he can be a huge factor if he got it together down there, but the marlins are afraid of making the news on mlb network. id welcome him back and see how he does if he did get sent down.

I feel like this is going to happen very soon.

If Brad Handjob would have hit Ichiro there..... Bruh.. The rain dance i would have formed to curse his offspring.

it has to man. one more poor series vs Colorado and I don't know what to tell you. I know hech gets hate, but....making contact right? Stanton doesn't. I support your opinion he should be sent down.

even when hand is not on the team he's ruining everything. now prado's out for the year.

:-)

Hech has been hitting the ball well lately. And he's had a lot of hard hit balls hit right at fielders. Stanton has been way more concerning. But he has to break out of it soon.

Prado is heating up again. This is a time for Stanton to get shit together
