They have been in every game they have lost this season and have a couple of blowout wins. It amazes me how people continue to overreact to the losses.

That's not how it works

 

 

#1-If Ziegler was available (which he clearly was since he pitched the 9th), why didn't he get the ball over Phelps in the 8th?

 

#2-Why didn't Ramos pitch at all? It's not that he was unavailable because he was warming up in case we scored in the bottom of the 8th. Ramos was available. Why go to the extreme of using Conley when there was still another reliever (arguably your best reliever) still remaining in the pen? ?

 

Those questions, along with others like "why is Ellis hitting 2nd?," and I wasn't a fan of how Mattingly managed this game.

 

Also, before I forget, Wei-Yin Chen sucks. We're stuck with him now too.

And?  They are trying to win. They can't guarantee results. It's ok to be mad they lost.  It's ok to blame the manager if it's for a legit reason. It's ridiculous to act like the season is over though every time they lose a couple games in a row.

 

Look I never said you're not allowed to say it, it isn't like I'm deleting or banning people for declaring the season over every couple days.  But, it just seems unnecessary to me. You want to keep doing it, by all means go ahead.  Just know there are ways to show you care about the team without being dramatic.

Agreed except I wouldn't say they flat out suck. But yes there's a lot to like and I wish they were better because a lot of these guys deserve better.

So much so that you had to burn a starter who had a solid outing last week and now we have to SKIP HIM
