I am a broken fucking record but again.......we are digging our own grave. 

 

No doubt we are competitive against the division but we constantly come out losers. 

 

I think we've seen some really good things but through the first 9 games I am not that encouraged. 

 

The starting pitching has been solid but can barely get through 5 innings and the so called super bullpen has blown 4 saves in the first 9 games. 

 

Now we have blown two straight games and have to face the top three starters for the Mets. 

 

Its amazing how quickly things can begin to snowball.

It's weird. Marlins Park didn't size small to hit a homer. But Chen and some RP used the magic when they performed.

Yelich leads off with a walk, Stanton hits a ball I thought was going out, Bout swings at ball 4 at his ankles, and Ozuna hits one 400 feet to the wrong part of the park. 

 

As for David Phelps, he better figure his shit out because the cutter and fastball are great but he isn't Mariano Rivera. Needs to utilize his secondary pitches.

Those left handed hitters are feasting off our bullpen right now especially late in games. When we were a good team holding the 1 run lead, we have been failing in that. 2 Games in a row that we have lost the lead in the 8th.

 

Bour looked ridiculous yesterday. You almost knew that swing was coming in the 16th. Just a shame that Conley had it come in and pitch and cannot make his start tonight.

This is different than the over reactions. You make sense and are upset about the right things.

The 8th inning blown leads are tough to swallow. Especially since they are against guys that have not pitched well against Lefties. I don't think Cervenka would be a better option. I just hope they are looking around for an option.

 

What's important is that the players forget about the game and get ready to face Thor again.
