I think if Alfaro stood at the furthest reach of the right handed batter's box from the plate, he'd be a great hitter. He doesn't lay off those inside pitches. lolol

Alfaro... ? Horrible swing

just let vick vick play

He's still kinda rehabbing and in Single-A, and hadn't played in competitive games in about two years, so ... let him work his way up.

time for a Sweet Lew HR?

"That's a big league shortstop play."

Yes, Todd, this is Major League Baseball. Any play made by a shortstop at this level is a big league shortstop play.

that parsons low inside sinker is a nasty boi

NICE HITTING BY LEW!

Brinson with the sharply hit single.

He's hitting a ton of balls hard this season, just not having the luck except for right there.

maybe he thinks he's still playing for vanderbilt

Brinson finally catching a break. He’s had a lot of hard hit balls all season that have been caught by fielders making great plays.

Just under it.

his approach seems better, but i feel like that star upside is pretty much gone. looks like an avg hitter with gold glove def ceiling

Neidert 3IP 1H 1ER 0BB 1SO so far. The lone hit was a lead off homer in a 3-2 count, he made 7 pitches.

Just under it.

That’s why these guys like O Brien. In the hopes that in between his numerous strike outs he’ll hit enough homeruns.

35-40% k rate though is not worth it

I don’t see why they didn’t leave in Anderson. You have the pitcher spot leading off next inning.

no reason burn these guys out

With a 0-2 count Isan draws the walk.

Wasn’t it around 28 last season ?

also that's like his 4th mlb inning and it was solid.

30% but career milb k rate is like 35

no reason burn these guys out

Anderson isn’t that young. I’m pretty sure he pitched more than one inning back in the frontier league. Use him for two today. He doesn’t have to pitch tomorrow.
