MLB umpires could get mic'd up

Featured Replies

Well, then we won't have to sit there and guess as to whether it was confirmed or stands, and potentially what they saw.

To note - on the TV broadcasts, you have the commentators talking about what happened, multiple video replays, and a general consensus of what happened by the time they made the call. In the ballpark, you have nothing aside from the one maybe two views they show up on the big screen, and then whatever the final call is by the umpire when he takes the headset off. You have to wait for them to get word that the call stands/confirmed and for them to put it up on the screen. Some explanation would be nice in the park.
