Seems like a very risky move considering his recent seasons. 

Assuming his option is not picked up, he's owed 7/218 or around 31 mil per.

Right. It'd be tough to walk away from. But say a team like Colorado wants him ...

Curious how much Stanton values winning at this point. Would he go to a bad team for the bigger payday? I would imagine he is prioritizing winning by now.
