Dickerson hit the ball well again today before leaving due to injury.

Mejia didn't have it today but this will probably be his last start for a while. He's got some stuff, certainly, but gotta get more consistent with getting the batters out.

Brinson with an incredible home run rob in the first, but that was all to write about for him.

Jesus Sanchez and Brian Navarreto with their first career hits.

I guess we're seeing a bit more why Sterling Sharp doesn't get used often ...

Liebrandt did a tremendous job. His work today could pay off tomorrow.

For sure - four innings without allowing a run, only two baserunners - not bad.

Dickerson do his best trying to catch a foul ball even the team already down eight runs, that's the culture of Marlins, never give up !!!

Is there really nobody else to bring up and have start? Castano and Mejia don't really have much to offer, nor do they have a long term starting future here. Both lame duck prospects imo. Bring up somebody who has at least some semblance of long term rotation potential.

Team will be back in Miami for a series starting Friday which will be when Mejia starts again - obviously Castano's going to be starting one game in New York.

As it is, we can't call up anyone from the alternate squad until we're back in Miami. One of the rules for this year.

So, one more Castano start and then hopefully it's Sandy and Caleb returning over the weekend.
