If the Marlins lose both games tomorrow, their record would be 19-29, which for the old time Marlins fans will remember that in the 2003 season, that was the Marlins record at their lowest point of the season before they turned things around and made that run. Unfortunately, we don’t have Jack McKeon, or Pudge, or Beckett, or Juan Pierre or Mike Lowell or Miguel Cabrera.. you get the point. 😂 Only thing we have that is slightly comparable to that ‘03 is solid top of the rotation guys in Sandy and Pablo. But without the bats to back them up we just end up wasting so many good starts. 😔

Staying on the theme of ‘03 comparisons. 😂 Daniel Castano could be like Carl Pavano. Erik Gonzalez could be solid utility guy like Mike Mordecai. Elieser could be a solid 5th pitcher like Mark Redman Nick Neidert could be like Tommy Phelps. Paul Campbell could be like Chad Fox. Willians Atudillo could be like Lenny Harris. Unfortunately they aren’t really like those guys. 😂
