Hill and Waddle

Featured Replies

It's been a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time since anyone who follows Miami has see a performance like that today from a pair of WRs in the same game.  Tua had a helluva game too although it still looks like Hill is just too fast for him as he had to come back a little bit on that deep throw for the TD.  Good to see them come back after being down 28-7 at the half in Baltimore of all places (kinda a house of horrors for them).

Down 35-14 entering the 4th, too. Scored 28 points in the final quarter and allowed just a field goal to win this one. I've never seen the Dolphins do that before.

Dolphins good?

wouldn't go that far just yet.  too early to tell.  They have a ridiculous group of WRs though.  That OL though man....phew....it's been a sore spot for ages now and they just can't seem to fix it.  If the OL ever improves drastically and keeps Tua upright I think they'll do pretty well.

They didn't allow a sack today so there's that.

The one sack Tua did take was because a tight end missed a block.

Yep...and 42pts were the result!

that said....that line is still very suspect - if they could somehow get a running game to the point people have to respect it at least a tiny bit? phew....OFFENSIVE EXPLOSION!

Certainly. Also worth noting Armstead was playing with a foot [toe?] injury and probably played the best of anyone on the line.

yeah he has a lengthy injury history - he's great if he can stay healthy. the rest of the line though is a question mark still.  time will tell!

They nutted up though today when it counted and came back.  Good for them.  I would like to have ONE team that is actually worth watching.

I've been so grateful for UCF Football the last five years for this exact reason. Lol.

And I HATE th current NFL product out there and haven't watched any football outside of a few quarters of the Superbowl (stop watching after halftime show usually). Nothing to do with Miami also being shitty - I just think the NFL is insanely boring to watch now.  I follow Miami in boxscores and news and always will though. If they start actually dominating I may get that Sunday ticket or whatever it's called though.

Hoping NFL goes fully available on streaming services soon cause I rarely get Dolphins games broadcast in Orlando. I got the first two games this year so far which is the first time since I moved here.

The NFL has been very exciting the first two weeks. A bunch of crazy comebacks/endings to games, Dolphins game included.

It’s been the opposite of Marlins baseball.

my biggest gripe is that there's waaaaaaaaaaaaay too much offense in the NFL now.  I mean I don't see much point in watching teams going up and down the field over and over and over.  Every week it seems like there are multiple 40+ pt games from various teams.  You MAAAAYBE would get 1 on a given week back in the mid 90s to mid 2000's but it wasn't like teams were only scoring 7pts or something either...there was just a much better balance to the games that made the truly big plays that much more exciting.  I know, i'm in the minority but I have tried every year to watch games for the last decade and literally....just meh.

Stop being so old and enjoy the game.
