January 5, 200422 yr The Royals and Juan Gonzalez reportedly have agreed to terms on a one-year' date=' $4 million contract. It took a while, but Gonzalez finally realized he wasn't going to get any better offers. The deal could be worth $6 million if Gonzalez stays healthy. [/quote']
January 5, 200422 yr conine 3 mill or juan gone 4 mill? shucks.. I'd rather have Mr. Marlin. Good signing for the Royals regardless.
January 5, 200422 yr I wonder if Juan Gone will do the same thing for KC he did for Det, nothing? I don't think he will try for the Royals.
January 5, 200422 yr well he was able to put up good numbers in the little amount of games he played last season KC may have hit the jack pot if he stays healthy
January 5, 200422 yr OMG @ 4 Millions this is a steal!!!! This guy is awesome, just look at his numbers last season with only 82 games played. He was on pace to drive in well over 100 runs and hit over 40+ HR. I wonder why the Marlins didn't try to go after him . . . For 4 million, this is a good risk to take, based on potential rewards . IMO In addition, the guy will be very hungry and motivated to perform, in order to get a multi year contract
January 5, 200422 yr i nko its a steal dood.. conine is 3 and he hit .280 20 hrs and juan gon 4 and he can hit 40 h r 100 rbi and .290. i raher have him then pudge
January 5, 200422 yr could be a 6 mil deal if he meets his insetives but still i wish we would have made an offer
January 5, 200422 yr royals needed a power hitter. they got one, provided juan gone decides to play like he is capable.
January 6, 200422 yr I wonder if Juan Gone will do the same thing for KC he did for Det, nothing? kc is more of a hitters park (by a lot), but they did move back the fences. Juan has to walk.
