Trade Scott for some bats, preferably a catcher or first baseman.

Trade Jazz for a premium and mid-tier prospect.

Call up Mesa and give him at-bats.

Get Sanoja reps at 2B in AAA. Call him up in Septmeber if not earlier.

See what Joe Mack can do in AAA.

Find a long-term solution at 1B and 2B.

Remember who Max Meyer is.

Give Cabrera three starts to fish or cut bait.

Hopefully Sanoja can stick at 2B.  Still very young though.

1B Is tougher and we will need to find someone in a trade.  Don't think the Indians have given up on Manzardo yet, nor do they really need Scott or Jazz but he would be ideal. Tyler Locklear or Bryce Eldridge are two intriguing prospects I wouldn't mind in the pipeline. Still reeling from not signing Ivan Melendez.

We are very thin at 1B in the minors as well.

How is Mesa's defense in CF? 

I looked into his stats the other day and saw he's still really young which is pretty awesome. I was probably confusing his age with his brothers but nonetheless.

He's still only 22.  His natural position is CF, he covers a lot of ground, and he's pretty fast.  Superior fly ball (and.or baseball) instincts to Jazz who replies more on his athleticism to cover up his deficiencies.

Left out nail the draft.

Shy away from the too old skewing of the age spectrum.  Get players a little more polished since God only knows what our hitting instructors are going to teach them.  

aka - need to nail rebuild # 735 to be competitive in the next 20 years.
