2024 Draft

No offense, but as frustrating as it is, it matters even more given how bad our front office is. Draft and intl signings are vital even if it takes a few years.

Hope they go young and younger with every pick personally.

If we can get Griffin or Rainier at our pick pull the trigger Peter Brady.  If Yesevage is there, take him.

If not. one of the FSU guys is ok unless we are committed to HS guys, which we should.

pro ably one of the FSU guys.  my prediction is Cam Smith.

If they really commit to young guys, then Cam Caminiti (love him), Schmidt ( don't know enough about), or Sloan ( love his arm) are the choices.

If Yesevage somehow drops run don't walk to get him please.

We are going to get a premium pick if we don't go under slot.

This is supposed to be a weak draft but I think a lot of under the radar guys are going to jump up the ladder quickly.

Wish we had pulled a Royals and traded a supplemental pick.

Caminiti or Sloan should be the pick if we are truly commiting to a Yung as possible reset.  If not, its one of the FSU guys.  Don't think Brecht is in play and will be surprised if Yesevage is on the board still.

If you care about the future of the Marlins, this draft is one of the most important days in our franchise history.  If it fails, it turns into another Sisyphus pushing up the rock reset.  If it succeeds then we can join the championship conversation in a few years.
