Bryce Harper to Rob Manfred: "Get the F--- Out"

Current CBA ends after the 2026 season. Manfred has been trying to get a salary cap implemented saying that the league has "lost billions" over the years due to not having a cap.

Personally - if I'm in the MLBPA, I only accept a salary cap under multiple conditions.

- Cap has to be quite high [probably $300M-$350M]
- A salary floor of approximately $125M-$150M has to be implemented
- Free agency after five years of service rather than six

MLB likely headed for a second lockout in this decade.

I'm thinking this next round of CBA is going to be acrimonious to say the least. If I'm the players, I would start with a Salary floor before acknowledging a salary cap

Owners wouldn't do a floor without a cap.
