Marlins scored 5.5 runs per game in the first 6. I know people said that it was mostly because the competition and I do think that helped, but now unless they score again it will be 5.33 runs per game against a team that had allowed just 1 per game before the series. Pretty encouraging. Too bad the pitching got roughed up.

I will add the caveat that they had 8 innings of offense in 4 of the first 6 and 8.2 innings of offense in 1 game. Only 9 innings in 1 game. Obviously 9 innings in each game on the road.
