I know that people don't like seeing X in the cleanup spot instead of hitting leadoff or 2nd, but does anyone think that Marsee hitting the ball better could have anything to do with the fact that Stowers is hitting after him?

Yeah, I think that the cleanup guy has to be a power guy is an overrated feature of a lineup.

Sandy absolutely horrible 0-2 pitch to hasse. Hasn’t really looked that good and been hit hard

BTW, Sandy is probably gonna get shelled ad Dodger Stadium on Wednesday. Even in his good seasons, he has done terrible in that park.
