Monday at 09:19 PM2 days I really think that they telegraphed the release of Morel as well as the option of Norby with their lineup decisions. He is in today, but Marsee was benched in 4 of the past 10. I do think they are starting to do the same thing with him, and it is telegraphing a future option.

Monday at 10:23 PM2 days Mish on Marlins live said that Sandy will not be traded regardless of how the team is playing. He is now 15 innings shy of Ricky Nolasco for the club record. He starts tomorrow and should start the day before the deadline.
Monday at 11:05 PM2 days Don't mind the homer to Harper, he's a HOF, but giving up the walk to Schwarber cost us a run. May as well go after Schwarber and if he beats us he beats us. We have to limit our free passes on the mound. A walk and a HBP in two innings is not going to cut it. That's essentially giving them a free base runner an inning.

Monday at 11:12 PM2 days Part of the reason why this losing streak has felt so bad is that it has felt like the game was over as soon as the opponent takes the lead. This is the first time that the Marlins have led in a game that they trailed in since before the losing streak started.

Yesterday at 12:07 AM1 day I have to confess I am partly responsible for this losing streak.A) After the Marlins won 7 or 8 in a row I plunked down a bet on them to win the World Series at juicy odds.B) I went on vacation for ten days and the Marlins went oh-fer me out of town.I will not be vacationing mid-season again.
