July 30Jul 30 only mother nature can slow down the fighting fish.looks like storms but they expect to get all nine in according to the update I see.
July 30Jul 30 Watching Pensacola to check out Eliazar Dishmey on the mound. They don't really list him in any of the prospect lists which is odd because his numbers are pretty impressive and he has steadily moved up the ladder. Still only 21 as well. Not sure if he throws had enough or has enough movement yet but he looks like he could be a useful bullpen piece at some point. He reminds me a bit of a shorter George Soriano. Take that for what you will.

July 31Jul 31 BTW, Dishmey's night is done for Pensacola. 5ip, 1 h, o runs, 3 BB, 8k's. Not too shabby. Also, Compton went yard again.

July 31Jul 31 Marsee is going to continue to try to pull the ball and either roll over it or pop it up. And guess what? It's gonna cost him his job when they finally call up Canerella in September.

Doubt we will see him this year but if we do that is a good sign for the future. We have about 5 or 6 legit outfield prospects in AAA and AA so it will be interesting to see how that plays out if we do make some trades.
July 31Jul 31 You can go with Conine, Heriberto, Hicks, Mack, and Caissie splitting time between corner OF, DH, and C. Start 4 out of 5 every day. 80 percent of the playing time, plus pinch hitting and defensive replacement (at least for Mack). But I sense that they mght just cash in on Hicks at the deadline. I have also heard Conine and Heriberto (I have no sources), but I can't see them trading more than one of these guys.Conine just had so much raw power and he has the family connection that migh sell jerseys. Heriberto gives this team a right handed power threat. Hicks is the obvious trade bait if they opt to go that way. Likely for a controllable SP or 3B which we need, but would be bitter sweet.
