toughest park for hitters

Featured Replies

I'm going with Comerica because it has scarier dimensions than some of the old ballparks (well, not braves field, but you get the point.) It is extremely hard to not only pull a homer, but also get it over those walls. If detroit built around defense like the twins, they would be in way better shape, because big ballparks=more base hits, doubles, and triples.

Pro Player is tricky in center field with that cut-out. JP handles it very well, but other team have problems.

BTW, can anyone say why they don't straighten that corner? Seems like it could be done easily.

so we can have an advantage

and Pro Player has gotta be on that poll.... it may not the be the hardest but its definitely top 3

i'd put Joe Robbie 7th

Because it was statistically the worst hitters park (and best pitchers park) in baseball last season, right?

:banghead

I voted for Network Associates Coliseum.....

I voted that way because first, that place has A TON of foul ground, second, the outfield is quite spacious, third, the pitching is great, and fourth, I DIDN'T vote for Comerica because they moved in the left field walls last year, so although still a hard place to hit, now home runs are more realistic with the shorter porches to left.

Turner should be higher on the neutral list, Shea is most definately a pitchers park, PPS is statistically the best pitchers park in baseball, and Wrigley over PPS and Shea? WTF?

That is why no one respects your opinion
