New development in Pudge deal

Featured Replies

NEW YORK -- If Ivan Rodriguez gets a spine injury in his lower back that lands him on the disabled list for five weeks or more, the Detroit Tigers would be able to terminate his contract after the 2005 season.

Good for the Tigers. Pudge is prone to injuries, and they are just taking the safe route. They deserve each other. Good riddance to Pudge.

I'm not sure I've written this before, but Pudge was NEVER coming back to the Marlins. There was ZERO chance of that happening. I'm glad he is gone because he didn't want to return. Pudge also is going to be a DH in Detroit when he isn't going AWOL because of all the losing. No way Pudge was going to play 144 games with the Marlins this season. So he isn't worth the money. Castro/Redmond are just fine. Pudge isn't a team guy. I pointed this out numerously. In case any missed my insights they were on other Pudge related boards. You heard it hear first. :hat The champ

I'm thinking that at this point all Pudge news should be in MLB. It's not Marlins related anymore.

very true. :hat The champ

You really got to stop saying that and start ruining a topic like that.

We already know that you have said since the beginning that Pudge isn't coming back. You can stop telling us now.

Not everyone is convinced Pudge isn't coming back. Don't jump on the bandwagon. It wasn't until I accurately stated that such a scenario had ZERO chance of happening. Some need reminding that Pudge will not return. For the purpose of educating and informing, I share my vast insights. It is a gift. :hat The champ
