January 31, 200422 yr Hmmmmm........ I guess I would have to say either Brad Penny or Carl Pavano, I didn't vote for Dontrelle beacuse everyone knows his wind-up and when he releases the ball so everyone everone got used to it. A.J. because he just got through with sugery and I dont think he will be that good in the beginning. :marlins
January 31, 200422 yr 19 what kinda crap is that lets not be so pessimistic here they will all definitely win 20 plus and i think benitez will record about 80 saves as well and pierre will steal 162 bases. write that down

No offence but I think that is kind of imposible. Plus 80 save by Benitez, I dont think that will happen either

Beckett will win 30 and strike out 300 as well.
January 31, 200422 yr Not AJ, he needs his time to recover this upcoming season. It will be Pavz, im 85% sure.
January 31, 200422 yr Have to go with Pavs. AJ won't get up to full speed until 2005. Dontrelle will have a very solid year as well.
January 31, 200422 yr Author Yes true but the only reason why D-Train was doing so good(no offence) is because the league wasn't used to a wind up like that.
January 31, 200422 yr Willis will be the next star in the rotation nowadays, MANY hitters adjust to a pitchers various forms of deception, through video tape and facing them a certain amount of times. This is not rare, as many of you percieve (sp?) it to be. The job of the Pitcher is to adjust to stay one step of the hitter to keep him off balanced. With the work ethic and determination Dontrelle Willis has he'll be able to do this quite easily. Thats why I think he'll be the next big thing in this rotation.
January 31, 200422 yr Another prediction--Sea Bass-.416 BA Yeah, in APRIL! :laugh :laugh :laugh :laugh :laugh :brigginbounce :brigginbounce :brigginbounce :drool :drool
January 31, 200422 yr marlins win 163 games in the regular season :shifty thats the spirit :thumbup my final prediction: Luis Castillo hits 83 home runs
January 31, 200422 yr we'll win the division tie breaker against the 162-0 phillies seriously though, the guy im looking for to come through is Brad Penny. with his stuff and size (although it would be nice if he lost a little weight), if he gets it together mentally on a consistent basis, he could blow up. its time for him to come through on his potential on a full time basis
January 31, 200422 yr Dontrelle going to have a great season. That fatigue did have an effect on him, and he's undoubtedly been working hard to improve this offseason. He's also converting himself into a heat fan! lol
