January 31, 200422 yr JP breaks the home run mark 308 78hrs 110rbis ... (39 of those homers are inside the park) and Castro gets voted in to the hall of fame after only playing one full season 396 56hrs 124rbis
January 31, 200422 yr Willis for sure. Its not about hitters learning how he pitches or any of that BS. When DW was off, its because his pitches were all over the place. When he was on, his pitches were in the strike zone and batters were swinging right through them.
January 31, 200422 yr Pavano was the man in the playoffs and will be the man in the regular season this year. Other than Beckett of course.
February 1, 200422 yr I voted for Penny (who I have no love for) and it really depends if he comes into camp in shape or whether he's been checking out every burger joint in OK. He got a taste for what it means to be a winner in the playoffs and WS and hopefully he'll use that to bring his game to the next level. He's at that stage in his career where a big year can mean THE REALLY BIG BUCKS. He has every reason in the world to want to perform well in 2004.
February 1, 200422 yr Wow what a drop in popularity and confidence in dontrelle, who woulod of thought at the allstar break that more people would vote for carl pavano.
February 1, 200422 yr Carl Pavano is the no brainer answer here IMO. The only other answer I could see is Burnett, and I think they will have to ease him into the swing of things since he hasn't pitched an MLB game in so long.
