I really hope you're wrong. My thinking was similar to yours a couple of months ago. I would think on the Democrats and Bush and all I saw was disaster... However, Bush's popularity is a "House of Cards". Regular people (smart ones that is) really hate him. All we have to hope for is that they show up to vote and we get rid of this nightmare.

I've also said, That Bush would lose and I guaranteed it.

 

Bush is going to need a 9/11 like action to save himself because their is no way, he can reverse this dramatic downslide just like that. He is being way too brash and it doesn't take most to realize he's not the right man to help this country.

 

Kerry also will probably end up having Bob Graham as his Running mate, which would help out in The Biggest State, The Dems need.

 

Add that to the fact that Kentucky, W Virginia, and Missouri formerly Rep strong holds, are all up for grabs. Add LA who is turning Democrat.

 

James Carville(The Genius) is putting his face out there in Democratic ads, who is a huge face and is able to get Democrats to respond. Plus Record turnouts are coming out all over the place, in The Primaries.

 

The Democrats are ready for a run, and THe Nation is ready as well...

Numbers do lie. I honestly just don't believe that after the "awesome, yay" Saddham capture (what happened to THAT guy, anyways?), that Bush is so suddenly in the doghouse.

 

Plus, it depends on the kind of poll it was. Polls can be VERY deceptive depending on who they poll.

SAdly Bush has amassed the greatest war chest in the history of politics and will reverse those polls with this immense wealth donated by the biggest scum of the earth. Couple that with the religious right and bush wins.

i don't think he was all that bad this morning, but it's hard to tell. the way he pauses after every 5 words when he speaks is very distracting.

Sadly, too much people think this way. I'm pro-life and against gay marriage but it has nothing to do with religion for me. Marriage is not a right in this country, it is a privilege. I have no problem with civil unions no matter who it is that is getting the union (gay, lesbian, straight, no ual relationship, etc.) Marriage was intended to be between one man and one woman and that is how it should stay. I am pro-life because I just believe that these fetuses deserve the right to live. Unless it is a , I am completely against abortion. People should consider the consequences before going off and having with everyone on the block.

Civil Unions give you basically the same rights without a tax break etc. Marriage is an institution in this country that is strongly connected with Judeo-Christian values and the majority of people in this country feel that marriage should be reserved for a man and a woman. I say give gays their rights but marriage is not a right in this country and was originally intended to be between a man and a woman and that is how it should stay.

No where in the Constitution does it say that this it is based on Christianity but when you look at it it is indeed based on Judeo-Christian beliefs.

As long as civil unions carry the tax break I could care less about the syntax. Why should one form of people bonding carry more advantages then another? Just because its tradition/dogma? Still not very convincing.
