It's official, the dirty war is on!

This was posted about John Kerry in the "Drudge Report". The Republican dirty war has begun!

CAMPAIGN DRAMA ROCKS DEMOCRATS: KERRY FIGHTS OFF MEDIA PROBE OF RECENT ALLEGED INFIDELITY, RIVALS PREDICT RUIN

**World Exclusive**

**Must Credit the DRUDGE REPORT**

A frantic behind-the-scenes drama is unfolding around Sen. John Kerry and his quest to lockup the Democratic nomination for president, the DRUDGE REPORT can reveal.

Intrigue surrounds a woman who recently fled the country, reportedly at the prodding of Kerry, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

A serious investigation of the woman and the nature of her relationship with Sen. John Kerry has been underway at TIME magazine, ABC NEWS, the WASHINGTON POST, THE HILL and the ASSOCIATED PRESS, where the woman in question once worked.

A close friend of the woman first approached a reporter late last year claiming fantastic stories -- stories that now threaten to turn the race for the presidency on its head!

In an off-the-record conversation with a dozen reporters earlier this week, General Wesley Clark plainly stated: "Kerry will implode over an intern issue." [Three reporters in attendance confirm Clark made the startling comments.]The Kerry commotion is why Howard Dean has turned increasingly aggressive against Kerry in recent days, and is the key reason why Dean reversed his decision not to drop out of the race after Wisconsin, top campaign sources tell the DRUDGE REPORT.

Oh oh, here we go!

Very interesting. I was wondering why Dean kept on with the campaign. It all makes sense. Damn...I am surprised. I actually thought Kerry was different. :(

This is sort of bad news though. Imagine if he gets elected to be the Democrat Presidential candidate????

Dean would just get destroyed by Bush, that wouldn't even be funny.

Kerry probably will to because Kerry has a closet full of dirty laundry that Bush will expose.

Thats another big reason I support Edwards.

Because Edwards is so fresh and so new he hasn't screwed up and therefore forces candidates to not run negative campaigns, but instead makes the opposing candidates focus on their own campaigns and make people compare their platforms to that of Edwards and then they (the people) see it isn't even close.

have you been paying attention to polls any phlub?

dean is within 5 points of bush and gaining.

in fact all the democratic candidates are gaining on bush.

your boy edwards had a bad week this week, thats all i know.

Sadly the media will not jump on this as they jumped on Dean's "yell" because Kerry is in the pocket of transnational companies. The media will not let Dean win. In any case I sure hope he does win.

:banghead All I care is that we get rid of the Bush thing we have in the White House... Whether is Edwards, Dean or whomever.

Dems just don't screw this up, get him out! PLEASE! :pullhair

i love what they did during the 'yell'

if only they would take things just slighty into context it would make sense.

Das Edwards surely had a much better night then Dean on Tuesday.

Edwards finishes at 28% and 2nd place in 2 states and Dean doesn't even crack 10% in either state.

And on top of that Dean is in SINGLE DIGITS in Wisconsin Polls! In Wisconsin the new polls I saw in the paper this morning were as follows...

Kerry- 40%

Edwards- 20%

Dean- 9%

Kucinich- 7%

Undecided- 25%

And I laugh to think Dean is staking his entire campaign in my home state that is a stronghold of Kerry and Edwards, which is bad campaign strategy.

The Undecideds though are famous in Wisconsin. Especially since 25% are still undecided.

Um....

Dean quit campaigning in those two states.

I am not saying that Dean had a good night...just that Edwards needed to win at least one of those two states and was shut out.

Just like Dean needs to win Wisconsin.

But really once the calendar turns to March things will really be decided.

Nothing is going to happen this month that will solidify things really.

PS. Edwards is my second choice.

Edwards does not have the Plain-Folks appeal that Dean does, Just because of that, I think he's at a major disadvantage, despite whatever numbers people may care to show.

Wisconsin is also a very progressive state...something Dean to a large extent is.

The Undecided vote is the key..and I sense Kerry might lose some of his support...one with not really being in the state much if at all recently and because of these new rumors out.

I would vote for Kerry I guess....but I dont really want to in November.

for any of you who haven't already seen what the speech actually looked like without the special microphones that remove crowd noise and the tiny clips, i posted a video of what it really sounded like some time ago:

also, diane sawyer ran a story on how the yell taken out of context with the special mics... i think that was on abc news.

Im starting to get away from that attitude. Those others that you list are all in corporate pockets so whats the difference? I guess one blatantly (Bush) shows his corporate ties and the others cover it up with social agendas.

Das also forgets to mention, The state Dean, needs the most and will drop out if he loses, he's trailing.

Dean would just be another Mondale/

He has no chance against Bush

The media's job is to blow things out of proportion and get the most ratings by running the "Story of the moment". Let's face it, the press has no intention on ever reporting the truth without exagerations or with objectivity.

If you want impartial news about this country look on newspapers from other countries.

i strongly disagree with that statement though that's a topic better saved for another thread. :mischief
