Marlins Players

Featured Replies

I am in a fantasy league where you can only get players from one team. How would you rank the marlins players?

For example

1.Mike Lowell

2.Josh Beckett

3.

4.

5.

...

40....

Please reply soon!

I will just do top ten:

1. Mike Lowell

2. Josh Beckett

3. Armando Benitez

4. Miguel Cabrera (I don't expect any sort of a sophmore slump)

5. Luis Castillo

6. Jeff Conine

7. Juan Pierre

8. Carl Pavano

9. Brad Penny

10. Alex Gonzalez

1. Burnett

2. Lowell

3. Beckett

4. Pierre

5. Penny

This is a fantasy team, Burnett will not be very useful this year unless a miracle happens...

I have teams in the Sporting News Basic league (8 players, 30M cap). I was careful to include Pierre and Castillo because they were priced reasonably and because the Scoring puts a good value on Stolen Bases.

(Also, I have a team called X FISH with all ex-Marlins. Geemoney's recently posted list helped me find some I had missed!)

1. Lowell

2. Pierre

3. Beckett

4. Benitez

5. Cabrera

6. Castillo

7. Fox

8. Penny

9. Gonzalez

10. Castro

why the hell isn't Beckett first?

Lowell is arguably the best at his position (outside of A-Rod) and Pierre leads the majors in steals.

We're talking FANTASY here...

1. Beckett

2. Lowell

3. Cabrera

4. Pierre

5. Benitez

6. Penny

7. Castillo

8. Conine

9. Pavano

10. Willis

1. Beckett

2. Lowell

3. Cabrera

4. Pierre

5. Benitez

6. Penny

7. Castillo

8. Conine

9. Pavano

10. Willis

i like that one

1. Josh Beckett

2. Mike Lowell

3. Miguel Cabrera

4. Juan Pierre

5. Luis Castillo

6. Armando Benitez

7. Dontrelle Willis

8. Jeff Conine

9. Ramon Castro

10. Brad Penny

11. Carl Pavano

12. Alex Gonzalez

13. Hee Seop Choi

14. Chad Fox (could be a sleeper if Harmando Boonitez struggles)

15. A.J. Burnett (Put him on IR for a month, it's worth it)

1-Beckett

2-Pierre

3-Lowell

4-Benitez

5-Castillo (if he gets his steals up again)

besides that

10-Penny

11-Cabrera

12-Castro (since he most likely be really cheap)

13-Choi (cheap too)

14-Pavano

15-Conine

16-Willis

and lastly

30-Gonzalez

31-Darren Oliver (inning eater)

32-Fox

33-AJ (as someone above said put him on IR ... he'll be worth it in the long run)

34-No one else is half decent for fantasy purposes .... maybe Wil Cordero
